New Students 25/26

New Students 25/26 (Undergraduate / Postgraduate)

Welcome to the Department of Computer Science

Get Your CS Account

For all new academic students whom are undertaking their undergraduate or postgraduate studies in Computer Science will require a UCL Computer Science (CS) Account.

To get your UCL Computer Science (CS) Account, you must first be on the UCL network. This means using one of the following methods:

Once you have connected to the UCL network, please visit the following page: (Disable any VPN’s before accessing this site)

https://account.cs.ucl.ac.uk/

  1. Log in using your UCL credentials. Once you’re in, you will be provided with your CS username. Make a note of this now.
  2. You will then be prompted to set a password. You are encouraged to include a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols, with a length of at least 14 characters.
  3. Once you have done this, your CS account will be ready to use after a few minutes.

Note: Your UCL account and CS account are separate. UCL credentials will not grant access to CS systems (and vice-versa).

There are three CS labs located within the Malet Place Engineering Building (MPEB) and one at 169 Euston Road.
